The remastered edition of Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave is now available. This is the single most important update to Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave since... well, since it first came out. "What's new", we hear you say?

Remastered media: All graphics have been re-rendered at twice the old resolution. That's 4 times more pixels – more than even Chicken Invaders: Ultimate Omelette! New orchestral music has been composed specifically for this edition, and we've increased the frame rate by 20% for even smoother animation!

Automatic weapon fire: No need to fire each shot individually any more! Just hold down the fire button and watch those feathers fly! Advanced players can (and should) still use manual firing, which has the potential to be a lot faster.

Progress saving: Your progress is now saved, so you can leave the game at any point and resume playing later! Also, after losing the game, you are given the option of starting the game at the last visited planet instead of going all the way back to the beginning. Those chickens don't stand a chance now!

Enhancements: The game has been also retrofitted with all the little improvements from our latest releases, regarding widescreen support, language handling, loading optimizations and menu system additions.
