Intelen raises a new post-seed round of $360K for US expansion reaching a total of $1,3M funding

New York, NY (4/29/2013): Intelen, a New York-based startup offering SaaS products for building analytics and engagement through gamification for C&I customers, received a post-seed investment of $360K by a group of undisclosed Angel Investors. The money will be used to sustain Intelen’s growth and for US market expansion.

Intelen, having a first successful seed round of $250K in 2011 and three EU grants in Smart grids of over $650K, is moving the HQs to New York with sales channels in Silicon Valley (CA) and Florida (FL).

The company has already recruited a very experienced executive team in New York (COO and Sales) in order to start the expansion and sales of Intelen’s SaaS cloud products: Building Monitoring (Real-time energy monitoring down to secs), Building Insights (Energy Efficiency analytics) and Building In.Gage (game mechanics & engagement platform over mobile apps).
