Galileo satelliteESA today signed a contract to build a further eight Galileo satellites, alongside other agreements to modify Europe’s Ariane 5 launcher to carry four navigation satellites at a time. The signing took place at the European Commission's centre in London, Europe House, in the presence of European Commission Vice President Antonio Tajani and UK Universities and Science Minister David Willetts MP.

In a new report*, the independent telecoms analyst found that service provider (SP) capex and revenues grew an estimated 12 per cent and seven per cent respectively in 2011, with capex reaching US$314bn and revenues US$1,962bn.

Athens, December 30, 2011 – A Share Purchase Agreement was signed today in OTE’s headquarters in Athens between OTE and Telecom Serbia for the sale of OTE’s 20% entire stake of the Serbian company.
