For the eleventh consecutive year, COSMOTE will donate to non-profit organisations caring for children, a substantial part of the New Year’s Day SMS revenues. Since 1999, COSMOTE has been consistent to its traditional “custom of love”, which is always warmly supported by its customers.

The company, aiming to support children in Athens as well as in the Greek region, will donate part of its revenues from text messages sent between 00:00 and 07:00 on New Year’s Day to the following organisations:

• The Association of Social Pediatrics Friends “Open Arms”
• The Cerebral Palsy Society
• The Hellenic Society for Disabled Children ELEPAP
• The “Floga” Association of Parents with Children suffering from neoplasmatic diseases
• “Social Support” non-profit organisation
• “Child Care” charity institution and association – Thessaloniki
• “Melissa” Special Education Centre – Kerkyra

Additionally, for the ninth consecutive year, COSMOTE will offer the equivalent amount of corporate Christmas gifts to a children’s charity. The organisation selected for 2010 is the Association of parents-guardians and friends of people with special needs, located at Naxos island.

With the message «We see the world as you do, full of love» the company informs the public for the programme with a creative and warm TV and radio campaign.

COSMOTE ensures that its subsidiaries convey the same principles and values as well as the vision for social development at all levels. In this context, COSMOTE Romania and AMC, COSMOTE Group subsidiary in Albania, have implemented similar initiatives.
